Anna Chlumsky | My Girl

Former child actress Anna Chlumsky skyrocketed to fame for playing Vada Sultenfuss in the 1991 film My Girl and its 1994 sequel. By the late ’90s and early 2000s, her career entered a hiatus as she pursued a college degree. Chlumsky returned to acting by the late 2000s with roles in several independent films, such as Blood Car and Loop. She then starred in the HBO series Veep from 2012 to 2019 as Amy Brookheimer and received six Primetime Emmy nominations.

In 2008, Chlumsky tied the knot with Army Reserve member Shaun So, with whom she has two kids. Now 40 years old, she continues to appear in the world of television, accepting roles here and there. She portrayed Dr. Katie Herman in Halt and Catch Fire in 2017 and received a role as the main star in Shonda Rhimes’ Inventing Anna in 2019.
